"Office in gray scale" develops the phenomenon of "light interference" (Young's experiment) that occurs between the existing elongated windows of the wall, giving rise to the appearance of a gray scale that occurs along of the entire skin of the building.

The design of the new skin is based on an existing building that has small vertical openings. The holes are organized in horizontal strips, but alternately offset in each of them. In order for this mismatch to go unnoticed, a new skin is proposed – made up of panels with a dimension similar to that of the existing openings – of 5 shades of gray that are repeated through an alternate and symmetrical sequence that ends up covering the entire building in its 3 facades. On the ground floor, a sequence is articulated in narrow vertical strips with the same color tones to promote the tactile perception of the architectural envelope.
